2021 Senate Bill 60

House Roll Call 402: Passed

To revise details of requirements to get a state mechanical contractor's license. Under current law an applicant must have 6,000 hours of experience to practice in any one of the 10 "subfields" covered by these licenses. The bill would allow an individual apply 2,000 hours spent in a two-year heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment trade school program to the 6,000 hour requirement to get that license.
