To revise details of which party is responsible for the health care coverage of children in a divorce, and the types of coverage that are required. Current law only specifies employer-based private coverage as meeting this requirement, and this and House Bill 4304 would clarify that Medicaid and other government health coverage also meet the requirement. This bill would also revise Friend of the Court procedures related to this requirement.
