An 800 prefix service or similar service would still be exempt. This is part of an agreement struck between Gov. Jennifer Granholm and Republican legislative leaders on <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/RollCall.aspx?ID=176636">modest business tax cuts</a> and <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/RollCall.aspx?ID=176597">subsidies for selected businesses</a>.
