To require a township treasurer to be in the office or otherwise conveniently available to collect property taxes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the last day that taxes are due and payable before being returned as delinquent, rather than from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on each Friday in the month of December. Alternatively, a township could work out an arrangement with a local financial institution to collect property tax payments on the last two days of December.
