To change the six-percent sales tax on diesel fuel to a six-cent-per-gallon consumption tax, and continue a refund for tax paid on fuel used inside the state. The bill is part of a legislative package comprised of House Bills 5734 to 5736, which change the way that diesel fuel tax is collected so that the entire amount is collected at the pump just like the gasoline tax.
