To adopt a Senate version of the FY 2001-2002 Department of Agriculture budget. This appropriates $89.7 million in adjusted gross spending (funded from all sources, including special state restricted fund and federal pass-through dollars, minus interdepartmental transfers), an amount 1.7 percent greater that the current year’s $88.2 million, which was the amount enacted in 2000. Of this, $48.2 million will come from the general fund (funded by actual state tax revenues), which is 2.5 percent greater than the current year’s $47.0 million.
