2001 Senate Bill 396

Senate Roll Call 267: Passed

To require the Department of Transportation to place on limited access highways signs indicating that an exit is within two miles of a hospital providing 24-hour emergency care, if the hospital requests the signs. The signs would give the hospital's name, and under amendments adopted in the House a hospital would pay for its sign. The signs placed under the act would replace existing white-on-blue "H" signs.
