Amend page 9, line 6, after “214.” by striking out the balance of the line through “officer.” on line 14 and inserting “By September 30, 2024, the department shall identify three internal departmental policies pertaining to staffing or public relations and publish these policies and related materials on a publicly accessible website. The department shall notify the subcommittees upon publication.”.

2. Amend page 15, following line 16, by inserting:

“Sec. 308. From the funds appropriated in part 1 for consumer services and protection, $500,000 shall be used to fund the activities of the fraud investigation unit. These funds are appropriated in addition to the amount of funds expended by the unit in Fiscal Year 2021-22.”

and adjusting the subtotals, totals, and section 201 accordingly.

“Sec. 218. If the state administrative board, acting under section 3 of 1921 PA 2, MCL 17.3, transfers funds from an amount appropriated under this article, the legislature may, by a concurrent resolution adopted by a majority of the members elected to and serving in each chamber, intertransfer funds within this article for the particular department, board, commission, officer, or institution.”
