To make performing an abortion in Michigan except to save the life of the mother a felony punishable by 10 years in prison and a $100,000 fine. This would not apply to the woman getting the abortion. The bill would not authorize a ban “a contraceptive measure, drug, or chemical…administered before the time when a pregnancy could be determined through conventional medical testing”.
