To require the government entities (mostly state universities) that authorize charter schools to submit to state authorities annual compliance reports showing the status of each public school academy (charter school) they have authorized. The bill would also repeal a section of law that repealed previous caps on the number of charter schools in the state, but does not itself re-authorize those caps.
