Expand employment law "whistleblower" privileges

To expand a labor law “whistleblower” provision that authorizes sanctions for employers who retaliate against an employee who reports a suspected or planned violation of a state law by an employer. The bill would also make employers subject to sanction for retaliating against an employee who is or is about to report a “planned violation, or request to participate in or cover up a violation or planned violation”.
