2021 Senate Bill 555

Authorize state social welfare and other benefits for military and veterans

Introduced in the Senate

Introduced by Sen. Paul Wojno (D-9)

To create a segregated state account (“fund”) to hold money contributed to a Michigan military and veteran services support fund the bill would authorize to provide social welfare type benefits or other benefits to service member families and veterans, which would be managed by a board of political appointees also tasked with seeking money for the all this.
