To update and revise references in a state “retail installment sales act” to match the proposal in House Bill 5429 to revise a law governing car loans that include vehicle "guaranteed asset protection waivers," where a borrower pays extra for the lender to cancel or waive the amount owed on a car loan if the vehicle is wrecked or stolen.
