To authorize a government “green university” recognition program (similar to an existing “<a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2006-HB-5554">green schools</a>” program). The recognition would be based on the extent the institution has adopted energy conservation and pollution reduction improvements, has full time “sustainability personnel, has adopted practices like serving more locally grown food and storing rainwater, etc.
