Expand scope of “Redevelopment Fast Track Authority” activities

To revise the 2003 “<a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2003-HB-4483">Redevelopment Fast Track Authority</a>” law to allow the merger of the Wayne County and Detroit authorities, and along with other bills in the package greatly expand the scope of activities this entity could undertake, and establish that property sold by this particular authority would be granted a 50 percent property tax break for eight years (rather than five years for other authorities).
