To add the Eurasian Ruffe, round goby, Eurasion collared dove, tubenose goby, quagga mussel, zebra mussel, cylindro, fanwort, starry stonewort, rusty crayfish and several snail species to a list of banned species in a <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2005-SB-213">law</a> banning their introduction into the state, remove yellow flag iris from the list, and also authorize adding crustaceans and birds to be named later to the ban list. The bill is "tie-barred" to House Bill 4579, which would to delegate power to the Natural Resources Commission to add or delete species from the list, except that the legislature would retain authority on insects and plants.
