To transfer the Michigan Film Office from the state Department of History, Arts and Libraries to the Michigan Strategic Fund. Under House Bills 5841 to 5856 the Film Office would have a large role in granting an array of targeted tax breaks and cash subsidies to film companies that shoot in Michigan.
