To establish the Michigan Film Office within the Michigan Strategic Fund, and grant it extensive authority to promote and facilitate film production in this state, including scouting locations for film companies, seeking the cooperation of state departments and local governments, and performing an extensive role in granting an array of targeted film company tax breaks that House Bills 5841 to 5856 would authorize.
