2002 Senate Bill 1445

Introduced in the Senate

Sept. 24, 2002

Introduced by Sen. Joanne Emmons (R-23)

To establish that a refund allowed under the Motor Fuel Tax Act for fuel that is contaminated, accidentally lost, or destroyed, would not apply if the person seeking the refund had been reimbursed by the federal government. Currently, the Act only specifies that a refund is not available if the person has been reimbursed by an insurance company.
