To authorize prison sentences of up to ten years for a physician attending an abortion that results in a live birth in a hospital if he or she fails to request medical care for the newborn, or call 911 if the birth occurred in an abortion clinic. The bill is part of a legislative package comprised of Senate Bills 1270 to 1274. See also House Bills 5994 to 5998.
