Substitute offered

To replace the previous version of the bill with one which incorporates some provision of SB 1497 concerning bail agents. That bill would allow a bail agent to deliver a fugitive to any county jail, not just the county where bond was posted; and require a court, if bail or bond were forfeited because a defendant failed to appear, to set aside the forfeiture if the defendant was apprehended, as long as the ends of justice had not been thwarted, and the county had been repaid its costs for apprehending the person.
