To “grandfather” the approval of existing groundwater bottling facilities (such as the one operated by Perrier near Big Rapids) for a period of 10 years, and after that period require them to comply with the permitting and regulation requirements proposed by Senate Bill 1197. The bill is part of a legislative package comprised of Senate Bills 1196 to 1200.
