2001 House Bill 5469

Introduced in the House

Introduced by Rep. Triette Reeves (D-13)

To expand to legislators elected before 1997 (elected in the November 1996 general election or earlier) certain legislative retirement health care benefits that now apply only to those House and Senate members elected before 1995. The bill would extend those benefits to current members who will be forced out of office after 2002 by term limits.
