To require the Family Independence Agency to report to the Department of Consumer and Industry Services (which has licensing responsibility) any reports which it has investigated and believes to be credible of child abuse or neglect committed by a person who is a licensed or regulated child care provider. The bill also gives the department access to information on the Law Enforcement Information Network (LEIN) regarding complaints against childcare providers.
