This appropriates $943.4 million in adjusted gross spending (funded from all sources, including state restricted fund and federal pass-through dollars, minus interdepartmental transfers), an increase of 1.6 percent compared to the current year’s $928.9 million, which was the amount enacted in 2000. Of this, $34.6 million will come from the General Fund (funded by actual state tax revenues), compared to the current year’s $34.6 million.
