Introduced in the House

Jan. 25, 2001

Introduced by Rep. Andrew Richner (R-1)

To allow hearsay evidence, in the form of a signed affidavit from the complaining witness, at a preliminary exam. The defendant would retain the right to face the accuser when and if the case proceeded to an actual trial.
