Senate Bill 273: SB 273 - Establish psychology licensing
Impose licensing and regulations on "psychological associates," with license fees, continuing education mandates, a mandate to have 6,000 hours of experience prior to being eligible for a license, and other requirements

Senate Bill 711: SB 711 - Extend Cobo tax exemption
Extend for another two years the 2014 sunset on a law that exempts from sales tax the purchase of tools and equipment by a contractor if these are used to fix or renovate Cobo Hall in Detroit.

Senate Bill 475: SB 475 - Trampoline Court Regulations
Establish standards and regulations for trampoline courts and operators, and grant these businesses limited immunity from lawsuits if the proposed regulations are followed.

Senate Bill 146: SB 146 - Targeted Enterprise Zone Tax Break
Authorizes tax breaks for developers whose projects are in a “neighborhood enterprise zone,” for a particular developer's project, while bypassing some requirements in the original law

Senate Bill 608: SB 608 - Hopgood amendment
Strip out $5.5 million for a "public/private partnership, Pyramid P20 education hub" project located in a former Steelcase building that appears to have become a real estate market "white elephant"

House Bill 4487: HB 4487 - Expand DDA Debt and Spending
Empower Downtown Development Authorities to borrow and spend the loan proceeds on “marketing initiatives," "infrastructure improvements" and more that "promote local agriculture products and farmers markets."

House Bill 5108: HB 5108 - Repeal ban on ticket scalping
Repeal a state law that bans ticket “scalping” at sports and entertainment events, or selling tickets at a higher price through some service or agency.

House Bill 4295: HB 4295 - Adjust school budget and funding
Make adjustments to the school aid budget for the current fiscal year to reflect lower than expected student counts, and appropriate extra money for various purposes, including a $51.7 federal "early learning challenge grant" the state applied for.

House Bill 5327: HB 5327 - Privacy for firearm ownership lists
Establish that state records and databases related to individual firearms ownership and permits are confidential and not subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.

House Bill 4001: HB 4001 - Cap FOIA fees
To establish statewide standards for the costs a government body may charge to fulfill a Freedom of Information Act open records request.

Senate Bill 786: SB 786 - Grant aquaculture tax breaks
Exempt aquaculture and hydroponics production facilities from property taxes and instead impose a new “specific” tax equal to 25 percent of the regular property tax.

Senate Bill 396: SB 396 - Restrict construction property tax hikes
Prohibit an assessment hike for construction to repair damages as long as it is substantially built with the same materials and square footage.

Senate Bill 553: SB 553 - Extend renaissance zone tax breaks again
Allow an eight year extension of the extensive tax breaks granted to residents and businesses in a particular "renaissance zone" located in Saginaw County. This would be in addition to a previous seven-year extension.
