To clarify that the actions of child placement agency licensed under a law regulating child care organizations are not governed by that law for purposes of the proposal in Senate Bills 488 and 798 to create a potential alternative for court-ordered foster care that would allow a parent or guardian to delegate to another person the care, custody, or property of a minor child for up to 180 days.
