To authorize a special deer hunting season for disabled veterans to coincide with any special season for youth authorized by the Natural Resources Commission.   Official Text and Analysis.

With the recommendation that the bill pass.

To replace the previous version of the bill with one that revises details but does not change the substance of the bill as previously described.

To adopt a pilot firearm deer hunting season in 2007 for disabled veterans to take place during proposed youth firearm deer hunting days (September 22 and 23).

With the recommendation that the substitute (H-1) be adopted and that the bill then pass.

To replace the previous version of the bill with one that specifies the areas where the 2007 pilot program would occur, and that the bill applies to veterans whose deemed 100 percent disabled under law.

To adopt a pilot firearm deer hunting season in 2007 for disabled veterans in Marquette, Mason, and Newaygo Counties, to take place during the youth firearm deer hunting days (September 22 and 23).

To concur with the House-passed version of the bill, which specifies that in 2007 the program will be tried out only in Marquette, Mason, and Newaygo Counties.
