To revise various management and operations details of the college and trade school spending and grant program for individuals age 25 and older promoted by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (dubbed “Michigan Reconnect”) and partially enacted in 2020, which authorized grants in the amount needed to cover tuition and fees for career-oriented classes at a community college that exceed the amounts covered by other scholarship and government aid.
