Coronavirus response bills – online gambling at casinos

To permit Michigan casinos to conduct internet gaming without a license until social distancing guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic are no longer in place, and let them contract with out-of-state companies to provide internet gaming platforms. <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2006-HB-4087">House Bill 4311, now Public Act 152 of 2019</a>, authorizes a comprehensive regulatory regime permitting this but it had not been put in place when the coronavirus epidemic struck.
