To exempt domestic violence victims from a disqualification on receiving unemployment insurance benefits that applies to individuals who leave a job voluntarily and without good cause. To exempt domestic violence victims from a disqualification on receiving unemployment insurance benefits that applies to individuals who leave a job voluntarily and without good cause. The employer’s unemployment insurance assessment account would not be charged for these benefits. The bill would extend to April 1, 2021 various unemployment insurance benefits system deadlines and extensions that were adopted earlier in response to the coronavirus epidemic.
