To make it a felony to sign a ballot access petition with multiple names. Also, to make it a misdemeanor to sign a petition with a name other than one’s own, make a false statement in a certificate on a petition, or falsely sign a petition as a circulator. This would affect nominating petitions, qualifying petitions, petitions to form a new political party, and recall petitions. Official Text and Analysis.
