2022 Senate Bill 1203: Extend annual fees imposed on Uber and Lyft type services

To cancel the scheduled elimination of annual “registration” fees of up to $30,000 that were imposed on “transportation network companies” like Uber and Lyft until March of 2023 by a 2016 law establishing a comprehensive regulatory regime on this industry, and instead keep collecting these fees until Sept. 30, 2027.   Official Text and Analysis.
