Prescribe unemployment benefits fraud prevention measures

To require the state agency in charge of distributing benefits to unemployed workers from a state unemployment fund to verify that each person is eligible by reviewing information from “Integrity Data Hub” operated by the National Association of State Workforce Agencies, a “National Directory of New Hires” operated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the database that House Bill 6181 would require to be prepared by the state Department of Corrections, and also state death records.
