2021 Senate Bill 598: Establish a new layer of integrated social welfare program management

To revise provisions in the state Mental Health Code to accommodate the proposal in Senate Bill 597 to require the state health and welfare department to issue contracts establishing a “specialty integrated plan” for “Medicaid beneficiaries with a serious mental illness, developmental disability, serious emotional disturbance, substance use disorder,” and also foster care children.   Official Text and Analysis.
