Shift state road dollars to locals, ‘backfill’ with federal stimulus money

To shift $261.3 million in state road tax revenue (fuel tax and vehicle registration tax) in the current fiscal year only from a state road repair account (the “Trunkline Fund”) to local government road agencies, which money would be replaced in the state account by federal transportation block grants given to states enacted as part of 2020 epidemic relief packages.
