Big 2020 income tax break for emergency responders, medics

To give emergency first responders and medical service a $50,000 state income tax deduction in 2020, for the period beginning on Feb. 15 through either June 15 or Sept. 15 if the coronavirus state of emergency persists, which would apply against their first responder or medical care provider income.
