To prohibit school districts from prohibiting a staff members from communicating or cooperating with appropriate federal officials concerning the immigration status of an individual in this state, or rescinding it if they already have such a policy, subject lawsuits and civil fines of up to $7,500 for failing to do so.   Official Text and Analysis.
