2019 House Bill 4984: Expand permissible criminal record expungements

With the recommendation that the substitute (H-1) be adopted and that the bill then pass.
To increase the number of felony and misdemeanor offenses that may expunged from a person’s record. A person with up to three felony records could apply to have all felonies plus any misdemeanors expunged. Additional limits and restrictions would apply for "assaultive" crimes, the definition of which would also be expanded by the bill.
