To allow a Michigan retailer with a license to sell beer and wine, or an retailer in another state with an equivalent license, to sell and ship wine directly to a consumer in this state. The seller would have to pay the applicable state taxes on the product, and abide by specified age verification procedures in the ordering and delivery process. Official Text and Analysis.
