2011 House Bill 4576: Revise new young driver passenger restriction
Introduced by Rep. Nancy Jenkins R-Clayton on April 21, 2011
To revise the new ban on inexperienced young drivers having more than one non-family member under the age of 21 in the car unless the driver’s parent is also present. The bill would allow an exception if a parent “designates” another licensed driver at least age 21 to supervise, and, if before midnight, allow driving other minors to a school event with written permission from a parent.   Official Text and Analysis.
