2007 House Bill 4848: Increase fees on licensed entities and professions

To give the Department of Labor and Economic Growth the authority to increase without additional legislative authorization the annual registration fees for building officials, inspectors, and plan reviewers. The bill would immediately increase the fee from $10 to $25.   Official Text and Analysis.

To replace the previous version of the bill with one that allows the Department of Labor and Economic Growth to raise the license fees without further legislative approval by indexing them to the salary and compensation levels of government employees.
