To revise various details in the complex regulatory regime that governs billboards. Among other things the bill would require suspension of some of the expensive fees that sign owners pay during the time when a road is closed, and change rules related to a scheme authorized by a <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2013-HB-4629">2014 law</a> that required sign owners to surrender several regular billboard permits in order to get an electronic billboard permit.
