The House version of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2010-2011 Department of Natural Resources and Environment budget. This would appropriate $719.3 million in gross spending, compared to $678 million, which was the FY 2009-2010 amount enrolled in 2009. Of this, $40.7 million will come from the general fund (funded by actual state tax revenues). Another $398.1 million comes from other state sources including fees, fines, royalties, some gas tax revenue, etc. $261.3 million will come from the federal government.
