2008 Senate Bill 1084

House Roll Call 906: Passed

To establish that, notwithstanding other laws that prohibit harming a gray wolf, a livestock owner may remove, capture, or use lethal means if necessary to stop a wolf that is attacking the livestock. The action would have to be reported to the Department of Natural Resources, and if the wolf is captured it would have to transferred to a conservation officer. Senate Bill 1077 deals with wolves attacking a dog.
