To give the Liquor Control Commission the authority to grant a special purpose permit for entertainment only permit at bars and restaurants that would allow extended hours for dancing, comedy shows and other entertainment. Liquor sales would still have to stop at 2:00 a.m., though. Under current law, these entertainments must also stop at the regular 2:00 a.m. liquor sale cut off time.
