To overhaul the law that requires units of government and others to publish certain legal notices in a “newspaper of record,” so as to accommodate changes in how people get information in the internet era. This is part of a legislative package (House Bills 6333 through 6440) that amends more than 100 existing Public Acts to make or accommodate the proposed changes.
