To amend Michigan’s 2006 “<a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2006-HB-4087">stand your ground</a>” self-defense law so as to establish that when a person has used force in self-defense in compliance with that law, he or she is immune from criminal prosecution or civil lawsuits, and that the burden of proof that it wasn’t self-defense is on party seeking to overcome that claim.
