Resolve that locals met certain required law enforcement 'maintenance of effort"

To adopt the resolution specified under the terms of a <a href="http://www.legislature.mi.gov/(S(avhexkvqirdu12zdyf5i5ova))/mileg.aspx?page=getObject&objectName=mcl-51-76">law</a> that requires county sheriffs to patrol roads within a city or village if the county board and local council agree, and as long as the city or village doesn't reduce its own law enforcement "maintenance of effort," unless the state House and Senate resolve that the reduction was due to state cutbacks.
